VSN Africa are based in Cape Town Winelands.  We handpick only full grain leather and vegetable tanned leather, locally to ensure superior quality.  We use a chisel and Mallet to form stitching holes in the leather and hand stitch every item with two needles and quality waxed thread imported from Germany.  We ensure quality, durability and longevity by making use of traditional crafting methods and tools.   We have a passion for designing, creating, customizing items into something beautiful and personal.  We are inspired by nature elements fire, water, earth, air & aether.

SALA INTO AFRICA

Once more SALA has proven themselves capable of changing lives with skills training. Ten students from Zambia and Namibia were trained by our mobile unit in 2 weeks. Manufacturing our own tools, the SA Leather Academy has equipped these ten students with the best of the best hand crafted tools—enabling them to create International quality products—all totally by hand.
